Have You Seen This

I have seen this some time ago, but one of my crafty friends posted it again on her page.  So I went and tried it and I like it but I will have to play more with it.  It is the Crayon Resist Technique, you can click here for a video on it.   Well here is the one's I did along with the inks I used.

 I like them both but I really do like the one on the top the best.  And yes the maker of the crayon does matter.

I hope that you will play with this and make some awesome cards.  I may do more and put them on cards.  Maybe some kind of home decor :)

My Version of a Fainting Couch

A fainting couch is a backless couch that typically has one end raised, against which a person can recline. This type of couch might have been made before the 19th century, but the term "fainting-couch" wasn’t commonly used until the 19th century. Fainting couches were made for women, especially because so many women in the 1800s wore corsets. A tight corset kept a woman almost breathless, making it much more likely that she would faint. Some homes and hotels even had fainting rooms, where women could catch their breath on these couches.

I found these little red books at the Dollar Tree and said what can I do with them.

A Matching Set

My Heart

I took a wooden box, and I printed it with Gesso and then with white print.  I forgot to take a picture of the box.

I took a stamp with some black ink and stamp all over the box.

The Wait Is Over, Welcome August

A Laughing Lola Card Set

I just love this paper pack.  You can do so much with it.  You have seen the frame that was made using this paper pack.

So I tried to make a card set with it.  Now I stamp one of the tags and then I re-stamped the tag.  You can see my mistake I made but I wanted to still put it on so that you all can see it.

I just love the way you can use purple, blue or even pink with this pack.

A Huntington Card Set

I used the new paper pack that will be available as of Aug. 1 2013.  This pack has so much different looks to it, you can make all kind of projects.  

I just love the way this card turned out.  I do not make cards, but I like the way this one came out.

My First CTMH Project

I was just sitting and thinking what can I do with the Laughing Lola kit.  I can make a card, but I am not good at that (NOT YET).  I can make a layout, but I thought that you all was tried of a layout from me right now.  So what was next, let me alter something.  But what to alter, I have a lot of wooden things that I can alter.  So here it is:

This is what I took from the kit.  Some chip board pieces and one piece of paper and some purple print.  Also so elements, and pop dots.

 
 This is what I came up with.  I hope that you enjoy it.

This is the flower that I pop doted up.

I just added my niece picture so you can see how the picture should look.  And that you can use two sizes in it.  Thanks for stopping by.
